SBCC

Welcome to the website of the St Budeaux Cycling Club
The club was originally founded in 1896 and reformed after the 1st World War in 1923 – we are looking forward to celebrating the centenary of our reforming next year.
We ride throughout the year with the majority our rides being on road although there is an occasional mountain bike ride.
Our main rides take place on Sundays catering for all levels of riders. If there are sufficient numbers riding we may split the ride in 2 with a faster (more masochistic?) group which will a harder (either longer or more hilly or both) and a more social group following easier route. Both groups will meet at the same stop for coffee etc.
Non-members are very welcome to try two of our rides: try – like – join. We can only offer two free rides in accordance with the Club’s insurance policy.
Ad hoc rides take place at anytime during the week, ideally prior notice of such rides will be posted on the website and/or our Facebook page
Benefits of joining us include:
Riding with other people and making new friends
Discovering new routes and coffee shops
Monthly social gathering at a local hostel
Membership is currently £10 per year. Application forms are available from the Secretary (admin.sbcc@talktalk.net) or can be downloaded here
We are affiliated to both British Cycling and CTT.
